Denning Elementary School

We are close to our goal! Help our school out with our fall fundraiser.
This fundraiser helps with many activities throughout the year.
We use our funding to be able to go on field trips, classroom incentives, attendance prizes and more.

Let's give Liam a shoutout. Liam is the first student this year to get a "Bird Brag" Liam helped a first grade student without being asked. The other student dropped his water bottle and Liam went over to help clean up the mess. You deserve a "Bird Brag" for sure.

From FCUSD 168: Water service is restored to CJHS/ASC. We will continue our regular school day with a Boil Order.

The WF Water Dept is currently repairing a line that feeds CJHS/ASC. FIS is not affected. CJHS students have clean drinking water & we will utilize FIS & escort student there for restroom facilities.. A Boil order will follow.

As always, the Moreland family is showing up to support Denning students. Thank you Nicole Moreland (and Grimace) for visiting with 2nd grade today and sharing all of the roles and responsibilities of a McDonalds owner/operator. Please log in to TeacherEase. There will be a banner at the top to acknowledge and sign the FCUSD 168 Student Parent Handbook this year instead of a paper form. You will acknowledge and sign with your student's name, acknowledge and sign with your name, and submit.

This will serve as your acknowledgement of the FCUSD 168 Student Parent Handbook for this school year. The handbook can be found on the homepage of our website: 2025-2026 Student Handbook.



Steps to complete:

Go to the School Website and select menu

Select Documents, scroll down to Parent Information

Select Handbook and download Handbook PDF and sign electronically

(select the T at the top of the page and insert name)

We kicked off our Fall Fundraiser today! Hit up any Denning student to order some amazing popcorn. If you don't know a student, call the office and we can help. We tried the popcorn today and it was a big hit. 🍿🍿🍿🍪🍪🍪

Mrs. Katie Warren visited 2nd Grade to share about her career as a radiology technologist and the Regional Director of Radiology at Deconess Hospital. She taught us about different types of scans and how they help doctors be "detectives". Thank you for such a fun and interactive presentation!
