2nd grade welcomed our favorite Irishman Mr. George Hopkins. We heard some Irish tunes, learned more about Ireland, and even had a Frootsie treat (if you know you know!) Thank you so much for continuing to give your time to West Frankfort kids!

We love to BRAG on students at DES! Hailey has such a huge heart. She is generous and always leads with kindness. Sydney has been working so hard in the classroom. She is excelling by putting first things first and giving her best effort.

We're wrapping up our Change for the Cure fundraiser next week. Friday the 20th will be the last day to donate. Our buckets are getting pretty heavy, but there's still room for more!
Have your kiddos check couch cushions, the car, or anywhere else they might find loose change or a few extra bills and send it to school with them.

On March 27th, a couple of Denning's Kindness Club members will be accompanying me to Z100 to drop our donation check for St. Jude. You can tune in at 8:40 AM to hear them on the radio as they talk about why donating was important to them.
