West Side Kindergarten Reading Room celebration! These students did an amazing job this year. We had so many student grow in letter, sound and word recognition, diagnostic performance and most importantly in their confidence. Some certificates today included passing 20, 40 and 60 i-Ready lessons, meeting typical growth, meeting stretch growth, highest i-Ready score, largest i-Ready growth, Most Improved Reader and Rockstar Reader. 2nd grade Reading Room Celebration #2. We had our annual ice cream party for our reading awards. These students CLEANED UP on awards. Students were recognized for "Lesson Completion," "Typical Diagnostic Growth"," "Stretch Diagnostic Growth," Scoring "On Grade Level," Highest Diagnostic Score, Largest Word Reading Fluency increase, Largest Oral Reading Fluency increase, Highest Words Reading Fluency, Highest Oral Reading Fluency, Most Improved Reader and Reading Rockstar (MVP).
I cannot say enough about this group of 2nd graders. Ms. Pat and I (Mrs. Nolen) are so incredibly proud of each of you!
