Denning Elementary School

Another day of awesomeness!!! Thank you Mrs. Brenda for making sure we had a great lunch today. The pasta bar and desserts were delicious. Thank you to Big O Farms in Thompsonville for donating 2 huge flower baskets.

We have grown so much this year, we are celebrating MULTIPLE days! Today's celebration included Happy Meals for the reading room students who showed the most growth on the spring i-Ready diagnostic test. These students not only all improved by MORE THAN 85 points this year, they ALL scored in 2nd grade! 4 of these students went from Grade K in the fall to Grade 2!!!! WOW!

Congratulations to Brycen, Emmie, Sydney, Jase and Ryker! Keep up the AMAZING work! I am so proud of you. ~Mrs. Nolen

🪼Day 3 of Staff Appreciation🐬 Our "Dirty" Alani/Soda Bar was a huge hit today. Check out our snack buckets full of "fish eyes" and "beach balls". Thank you to our Sunshine Committee for our "Snack Shack" ☀️ A BIG Thank you to Howell Insurance/Jess Patton for an amazing lunch. It was much appreciated. You made all of our hearts smile. 🌮 Also, Casey's West donated 20 breakfast pizzas for breakfast! What a wonderful surprise!!🍕 Thank you to Vickie Barnard for making our delicious cookies. You always make my order perfect!🍪

Mrs. Mallory is such a wonderful asset to Denning! She
works hard to make sure we ALL are taken care of.

We will be here from 5:00-6:00 in the front of the main doors.

We will have chalk on hand but if you wish to use other styles or colors your welcome to bring that as well.

We are excited to show our staff how much they are appreciated when they come in on Monday morning.
