Football Schedule Update. Monday October 23rd 2023 we will play a JV game in Sparta at 6pm.
Two additional announcements: 1) Be aware that the phone lines for the District are temporarily down. They should be back up and working just after 8 this morning. Thank you for your patience. 2) I've been informed that pre-Kindergarten was not scheduled to be in attendance today. So, they will be on their original schedule. Sorry for any confusion. All other students will be learning and be fed today.
For FCHS students who were scheduled to be on the STEM Day trip to John A. Logan College today, Friday, October 20, 2023, that trip will STILL happen today. Buses will leave the high school at your originally scheduled time for that field trip.
Classes Cancelled at Frankfort Community High School for Friday, October 20, 2023----This is an announcement for Frankfort CUSD #168 in West Frankfort. There Will BE school today for PRE-K through 8th grade students today, Friday, October 20, 2023. However, due to a water main break at Frankfort Community High School, there will be NO student attendance for FCahas students today. FCHS Faculty and staff will still report to the building for meetings today.

Senior Night tonight for our HS Volleyball team. Come and support these girls! Remember students wearing Red or a Redbird shirt get in free! The HS student theme for the night is Halloween. Central school students wear red to get into the game. DES and FIS students continue to bring your SuperFan Cards.

Please stay in your vehicle, give us your child’s name, and we will bring your items to you. Wednesday, October 18 is Fall Picture Day at DES! We will take individual and class pictures. Three weeks after pictures, you will receive an online code to order pictures. All orders will be placed online and shipped directly to your home.
