To the Frankfort CUSD #168 Family:
The District has learned this evening through public sources that there was an arrest and a booking into the Franklin County Jail that involves Mr. Aaron Hill, who is employed as Principal of Frankfort Community High School. The charges are related to an incident that happened outside of school.
As we released in a post to you last night, Mr. Hill had been placed on Paid Administrative Leave pending an internal investigation. As this matter is in the legal system, the District is respectful of that process while it continues to pursue any information related to this case. We can assure you that the District has received no information that any of the allegations related to this matter involve student safety or students in general.
We are releasing this update to make sure that everyone is as informed as possible. As you know, the District is extremely limited in the information that it can release about any specific personnel matter. We continue to follow legal advice in what can be shared. For our school community, we continue to prioritize student safety and an orderly educational experience.
Administrative functions at FCHS are being assumed by District Administrative Staff and the Assistant Principal. We will have further comment if and when it becomes available to share.
