I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I attended Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana and graduated with my degree in December of 2002. I have certification in Elementary Education as well as Early Childhood Education. This is my third year working for District 168 but my fourth year at Denning. I was previously one of the Pre K teachers for Southern Regions Early Childhood Coop at West Frankfort. This is also my third year teaching Kindergarten. I live in Royalton with my husband and daughter. I also have a son who lives in Indiana. I work extremely hard to establish our classroom as a safe, compassionate environment where we all do our personal best.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at school (618-937-2464), send a note, or email me at kkeown@wfschools.org I always want to encourage parental involvement. I would be glad to meet to discuss your child any time. I look forward to working with you and your student this year!
